Ardmore Sound

Ardmore Sound has been providing Sound Post Production facilities and talent for Film and Television since 1995. Based on the Ardmore Studios lot just south of Dublin, Ardmore Sound is home to Ireland's only Dolby licensed feature film mixing theatre and Ireland's only purpose built foley recording studio. We have worked on Irish, UK, European and US productions including sound design, foley, ADR and mixing for director's such as John Boorman, Neil Jordan, Oliver Hirschbiegal, Rodrigo García, Lenny Abrahamson, John Carney and Liv Ullmann.

In 2010 Ardmore Sound merged with Ireland's leading Post Production facility, Screen Scene. That same year both companies were responsible for all the sound and picture post on Season 1 of HBO's Game of Thrones. Since then we have worked on major television series such as Ripper Street: Season 2 (BBC), Moonfleet (SKY), Ice-cream Girls (ITV), The Widower (ITV), Loving Miss Hatto (BBC) and Haughey (RTE).

Today Ardmore Sound boasts the most experienced pool of sound talent and facilities between the two companies. At Ardmore Sound in Ardmore Studios we have the Main Stage for feature mixing and ADR recording, The Foley Stage and several 5.1 ProTools HD equipped Sound Design rooms.

At Screen Scene, in the heart of Dublin, we have two purpose-built Dolby licensed Mix Theatres, Centre Stage 1 and Centre Stage 2, for feature film, feature documentary and TV drama mixing, the ADR Studio equipped with ISDN and Source Connect for local and remote ADR sessions, and 4 more 5.1 ProTools HD equipped Sound Design rooms.
