'Charlie' announced as part of RTÉ's Autumn Schedule / by Steve Fanagan

'Charlie' is a new three-part drama about former Taoiseach, Charlie Haughey, covering his turbulent political career from 1979 to 1992. The 3x90minute episodes were directed by Kenny Glenaan and Charlie McCarthy, and star Aidan Gillan as Charlie and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor as PJ Mara, Charlie's spin doctor. The series was produced by Touchpaper and Element Pictures and has been announced as part of RTÉ's Autumn Schedule.
