Brie Larson wins best actress BAFTA for 'Room' / by Keith Jordan

We're ecstatic to report that Brie Larson took home the Best Actress award at last nights BAFTA's for her role in Lenny Abrahamson's stunning drama Room.

Coming hot on the heels of her recent Golden Globe win and Oscar nomination, Larson nabbed the award for her blistering turn as 'Ma' in the film, based on the book of the same name by Irish author Emma Donoghue.

Director Abrahamson was on hand to accept the award on her behalf, as can be seen in the clip below:
