'Room' nominated for 'Outstanding Sound - Feature Film' at 2016 HPA Awards / by Steve Fanagan

We are delighted to have been nominated for Outstanding Sound - Feature Film at this year's Hollywood Professional Association HPA Awards for our sound work on Lenny Abrahamson's 'Room' (Element Pictures).

Launched in 2006, the HPA Awards spotlight outstanding achievement in editing, sound, visual effects and color grading for work in television, commercials, and feature films.

Lenny Abrahamson’s multi-award winning adaptation of Emma Donughue’s best selling book, Room, was produced by Ed Guiney and Element Pictures in association with Film4, Telefilm Canada, and the Irish Film Board.

Full sound post on 'Room' was carried out at Ardmore Sound. Our work on the film has recieved nominations at this years MPSE Golden Reels, The International Music+Sound Awards and a win at the IFTAs. Here's the full list of the Sound Team credits:
