'Bloody Good Headline' wins at IFI Stranger Than Fiction Doc Fest / by Niall Brady

'Bloody Good Headline', the latest documentary film from Areaman Productions, premiered at this year's IFI Stranger Than Fiction Documentary Film Festival and won the Jury Award for Best Short Documentary.

The film, directed by Tom Burke and Paul Quinn, and produced by Shane Hogan, explores the experience of the orange-vested newspaper sellers who dot Dublin's city streets in the mornings and evenings. The newspaper sellers have outlooks as diverse as their varied places of origin, and they speak freely about their unusual working lives.

Full sound post production on the film was completed by Steve Fanagan at Ardmore Sound.
