Glassland announced in World Cinema Dramatic Competition at Sundance / by Niall Brady

Gerard Barret's Glassland has been selected to play as part of the World Cinema Dramatic competition at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. This competition strand focuses on 'emerging filmmaking talents from around the world who offer fresh perspectives and inventive styles'

The film, starring Jack Reynor, Toni Collette, Will Poulter and Michael Smiley, is about a taxi driver struggling to protect his family.

The film was produced by Ed Guiney (‘Frank’,‘What Richard Did’) and Juliette Bonass (‘Get Up and Go’) for Element Pictures in association with Barrett’s NINE.
